New 1000 and 2000 Series expand Welmed’s surgical drape offering with sterile and non-sterile options
Welmed is pleased to announce the addition of a new line of Surgical Incise Drapes, expanding its surgical drape portfolio with both Polyethylene (PE) and Polyurethane (PU) film options.
The new line was developed in response to a customer need for an additional source for surgical incise drapes. With changing product availability in the marketplace creating new sourcing challenges, Welmed developed a solution to help meet those requirements.
The complete line is now available for customer product evaluations and orders.
Two Film Options
Welmed Surgical Incise Drapes are available in two film constructions:
- Polyethylene Film – 1000 Series: Breathable, soft and conformable
- Polyurethane Elastic Film – 2000 Series: Enhanced breathability, softness, conformability and elasticity
Both series are offered in multiple sizes and sterile and non-sterile configurations, including options for healthcare facilities and MPT/CPT manufacturers. Welmed Surgical Incise Drapes provide secure adhesion, gentle removal with minimal residue, and transparent, breathable and waterproof film for visualization of the surgical site.
Developed Around Customer Needs
Welmed works collaboratively with customers to identify product requirements and develop disposable product solutions around their specific needs. The new Surgical Incise Drape line reflects that approach and is now available to the broader market.
Samples are available for evaluation. Products are manufactured based on customer demand, with timelines established accordingly.
